I'm So Glad....

Good, good morning! I am super excited to share my latest DT creation with you from 4 Crafty Chicks! Our wonderful hostess for Challenge #235 is our one and only Lori.  She would like us to use her wonderful SKETCH to design a card! It is a super fun sketch to create with!

This past week has been super busy for going to rehab, (working my mind and body), cheering for our sons basketball team, doctors appointments, counselling appointments and trying to play catch up on some house work.  Truly wish that my body would/could do more at once, alas it is still a long journey ahead and some days I am on top of the world kicking butt and other times my body just does not cooperate.  What is in store for your weekend? We will be watching our daughter play in a U13 volleyball tournament,

If you are looking for more inspiration please do not hesitate but hop right on over to 4 Crafty Chicks where our GDT and fellow chicks have rocked it out. I look forward to hopping to your blogs.

Have an amazing day!!

An Crocheted Throw (Afghan) Blanket for A Friend

Hello from Millet, Alberta where the Winter season has just been weird.  There has been so much rain/freezing rain this year and way more fog than usual.  It has been so warm here the last couple of weeks that I saw people walking around in shorts outside (other than my oldest who lives in shorts). We have lots of ice but the snow is melting fast.

It is sure hard to believe that we are nearing the end of January.  With there being 5 Thursdays this month, it is our Crazy Egg challenge for #231 which is always ANYTHING GOES!!  Your hostess this week is Leanne!!

This is my crocheted afghan throw, I made for my friends birthday! It is two weeks late but my first crocheting project completed for 2015.  It is a dark blue but I had to use flash on the camera so you can see it.  It is a very simple pattern that works up very fast. The pattern is meant for only one color of yarn.  It is folded in half.  There is a close up picture of the pattern hopefully you can see it.

Come on out and share your wonderful creations with us this week at 4 Crafty Chicks.  What does ANYTHING GO inspire in you. My fellow DT's have some amazing creations to share with you.

Thank you for stopping by, hope to see you soon.

A Cart Full of Flowers :)

Hello!! I am back with my second post for today and am so excited to share my card with you. It was so much fun working with The Stamping Boutigue image Flower Cart. Thank you so much for letting me highlight this image.

My card below was design for our Creative Knockouts Challenge #73 and Kelly would like you to use LOTS OF EMBELLIES. I am embarrassed to admit but I created my card took the pictures and went to place it on our DT blog when I realized that did not follow the challenge. I did not put a single embellishment on except for maybe the ribbon *gasp*. How could this of happened? Well frankly, I just don't know everything is better with embellishments right?? *giggle, snort*.  Thank goodness it was something easily fixed. Out came my brand new pearls and pink candy dots. My top note die one of my favorites. So this is what I came up with, hope you like it.

Copics used E33, E35, E57, RV02, RV66, V05, YR16, BV02, BG45, B12, R29. Top Note, pearls, ribbon.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  A smile is coming your way :)

There's An App For That...

Good Morning!! Another busy week has come and gone with appointments, rehab work, birthday parties and just enjoying the kids.   Yesterday before we got to my one appointment it started raining and by the time we came out it was frozen. This winter just seems so weird, freezing cold and snow one minute, warm and raining the next.

Today, is a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks! Our hostess is Lori and for Challenge #230 she would like use to do something to represent Best Friends.

Here is my card below.  The image is from Kenny K and so is the sentiment. They are both brand new along with the fabby pattern paper. I was excited to use this image because I have a couple of friends who we are always discussing our apps.  This is so perfect. The papers are from Stampin Up as well as the punch. I had fun coloring this image with Copics. It was a blast putting together all of these colors.  Unfortunately you can not see the Wink of Stella on there eye lids.

Thank You!!

Good Morning! I hope your week has been a good one. My week has been super busy and trying to get my rehabilitation schedule into something a little more organized...LOL. Not sure this will ever happen but I do have faith. Oh and loving the warmer temperatures too.

Today, I get to share the brand new challenge with you from 4 Crafty Chicks.  We are on Challenge #229 and Flowers is what we want to see.  For me this is something I struggle with even creating this card, I had my idea but then realized after it was glued down that I forgot to add the texture to it. A few words were said but not sure if my faux stitching worked to spruce it up.

The paper, die cuts and stamp was all from Stampin Up.  It is a clean and simple design but hopefully one you like.
Please come on out and join us for this challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks, we would love to see you.

Have an amazing day! Thanks for stopping by.
