Branching Out at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good evening! I have been trying so hard since January not to vent on here about my children's school.  Every time I think they have showed me how low they can go they surprise me with something else.  Yesterday, was one of those days and my time was taken up taking care of my middle son Robin.  Today, was quite a few hours in at emergency where we found out he has a concussion and we had to have a CT Scan done.  Alas, my post for 4 Crafty Chicks is late.  We are truly counting down our last day of school of June 14th.

We have an awesome challenge for you this week and since there is 5 Thursdays in May we have a Crazy Egg prize up for grabs.  Leanne, who is also our fabulous and incredibly inspirational DT is our hostess with the mostess this week.  She is also offering up this beautiful prize for ya all.

This week we are onto our 92nd challenge.  Are you ready to see what it is?

CHALLENGE #92 - BRANCHING OUT (trees, shrub...)

Here is my creation, I hope that you like it.  The colors are chocolate chip, pink pirouette, a lite pink and white.  A stampin up stamp, circle punches, ribbon and a cuttlebug folder.

I would like to enter this into Make It Monday - be sure to check them out after you come and share you information with us at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Be sure to stop bye Leanne, Lori and Melissa because there creations are outstanding once again.

Please have an amazing day and thanks for sharing in my creation.

A Truly Inspiring Color Combo!

Sorry, had my post scheduled but blogger did not post it on time. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Hey all!  It is that time of year again when life gets a little bit busy.  Our long weekend was busy but filled with some good old fashion relaxation.  I actually picked up my cross stitch and did about 4 hours of work on it.  It felt good, my tiger cross stitch has been being worked on for well to many years.  One day it is going to be on my wall...LOL.

Are you ready for another challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks?  Our beautiful and completely inspiring hostess for this week is Lori Turner from Inkingly Yours.  We are really excited for this challenge.  Although there is color challenges out in blogger land we don't have many at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Lori came up with a truly inspiring color combo for our 91st challenge.  We hope you will come and join us and for more inspiration from Lori, Leanne and Melissa hope on over to 4 Crafty Chicks.

CHALLENGE #91 - COLOR COMBO
Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy and Whisper White
(you don't have to have the exactly colors but please try to get as close as you can :) )

Here is my creation.  It is another clean and simple card.  The border around the rectangles is hand drawn.  The wonderful sentiment is from a Verve stamp set.  I was lucky enough to enjoy a crafting day with Lori and this is what I came up with.  Thank you very much Lori for the crafting day, it always goes by way to fast and it is always awesome.

I would like to enter my card into the following Challenges:

Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Challenge #11 - Dimension

Please come and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks for our color combo challenge! We would love to see what you create and a chance to come and see your blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing in my creation!! Have an amazing day.

GDT & BLOG HOP Time at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good Morning everyone we are so excited to be having another Blog Hop and search for our Guest Designers for June, July and August.  If you have come from Melissa's blog then you are in the right place.  If you are popping in too say hi and want to join in on the fun then please go Leanne's blog, the link is below to start at the beginning :)

Our challenge for you this week at 4 Crafty Chicks is a fun one
 Favorite Embellishment
whatever that is to you, brads, flowers, ribbon, it is endless, and write what yours is.

Here’s the low-down on the Blog Hop:
  • Each Chick has graciously donated a prize to be given to one lucky Blog Hopper who leaves a comment on the Chick’s blog.  The winners will be chosen by each Chick using Random.org.
  • To be eligible to win Blog Hop prizes, participants must: (a) become a follower of the 4 Crafty Chicks blog; (b) leave a comment on each of the Chicks’ blogs; AND (c) leave a comment on the 4CC blog.
  • Sorry I am struggling getting my picture of my prize on here, blogger is not being nice...LOL.  Let's hope later today will be my lucky day and I can put a picture on for you.
      • My Prize
      • Stamping Bella - violet BITTYBLOOM
      • InkadinkaClings - Every Day Expression (5pc)
So here is my card for this challenge! On this particular card, I didn't find the room to really highlight what my favorite embellishment but it is pearls.  I also am finding a new one twine, it was a hard sell so I put both on...LOL.  Pearls just always add a pop to the card.  On this baby card, it is multi layered but still is very clean and simple. Love the adorable image too and I colored it with Copic's...still learning how to play with them.

Would you like to join the 4 Crafty Chicks as a Guest Designer? If  you participate in this week’s Challenge and would like to be considered for June, July, and August's Guest Designer positions, please put (GDT) after your name when submitting to inlinkz – please remember that you will be committing to a month of challenges (which you will receive immediately after being chosen as Guest Designer.)

That's enough of my babbling -  I suppose you ALL want to get busy hopping, right? Well, what are we waiting for? Off you go!!  Don't forget to leave your comments because each Chick has their own blog hop prize to give away!

The next stop on your Blog Hop is Lori's and her link is just below.
I hope you will all take a few minutes to play along with us this week – we can’t wait to choose our next Guest Designers!  Have fun, everyone!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my new creation with me. Can't wait to see what your favorite embellishment is.  Have a wonderful week.
