Happy 20th Anniversary!

Welcome back to 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday! You got it a brand new challenge for everyone. Before I get to our brand new challenge, I would like to thank Leanne (Banking On Crafts), Lori (Inkingly Yours) and Tina (Tina's Creative Place) for being awesome to work with, for stepping up when I needed help and for just being you.  It is fantastic to realize that we are on our #300 challenge. Here is to another 300 hey girls.

Our #300th challenge hostess is our one and only talented Lori.  Lori had me stepping out of my comfort zone with this challenge but I must say, I loved it.  So for Challenge #300 make a SHAKER CARD! This is my first shaker card and I made it for my husband.  Last week was our 20th Wedding Anniversary and I thought this was perfect to go with my new stampin up goodies that were recieved on Monday! Hope you like this clean and simple card. Thanks Lori for the fun challenge and getting me to step out of the box!!

Please join us at 4 Crafty Chicks this week. I look forward to seeing your inspiration.  Leanne, Lori and Tina also have amazing inspiration for you too, be sure to check them out.

Poor Luvvy

Hello and here is to Happy Creative Knockouts Thursday style.  We have a wonderful sponsor this week. I would like to thank them for letting me use this cute, cute bear from Digital Delights.  Poor Luvvy is the name of the image was lucky to use this week.  The prize is a $15 Gift Certificate too Digital Delights. For challenge #143 - Anything Goes

I never seem to have these type of cards on hand. So when I saw this image it made sense to color it up for when we need it, we have one. My image above is colored using copics and the "Feel Better" is stamped in Night of Navy ink. I used spellbinders and a circle punch.  The paper button and ribbon are also from Stampin Up.

With the temperatures everything started blooming here early but the last few days we have below zero in the morning and I am afraid some of those pretty flowers didn't make it.  I hope with the warmer weather that they will come back.

Please come and join us at Creative Knockouts. We would love to be inspired by you.

Have a spectacular day!!

Favorite Era - Wannabe (1990)

Hello! Well yesterday night we saw some lighting after we found this gorgeous nature path to walk on.  Have been praying for rain. I walked about 800 meters with bumps and hills it a great accomplishment. Boy did it ever work on my balance.  We stopped at this look out tower where we could sign our names and just look at the wild life and at the river valley.  It truly was peaceful with just the noises coming from nature.

I am your host for this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  I would like you to create something from your Favorite Era.  Easy Peazy right??? My problem at first is that their is something from every Era that I like music wise, movies wise and food wise. Then talking with Leanne, we were like what is some good bands/groups in the 90's.  So Leanne helped me come up with this idea to try and recreate the Spice Girls with Kenny K digi's.  I think as far as girl bands in the 1990's these girls were on top. For this reason I picked the 1990's for their girl power :)

For the most part the digi's work for what I wanted. They were a blast to color up too.  I picked the color of clothes from pictures on Pinterest. I used Kraftin Kimmie Sentiment, Martha Stewart Punch, Stampin Up punch, Copics, pearls, flowers and gems.

Hope you like the creation you see this week.  Looking for more inspiration please hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks. We really would like to see what is your favorite Era.

Have an amazing week!

Lacy Sunshine

My fellow DT's have amazing inspiration for you this week so be sure to hop on over and check them out at Creative Knockouts.  We would love to see you creations using Doilies.

Thanks for joining me for yet another installment of my creative journey.

Love Generously...

Hello my friends! Would like to thank you for stopping by to see my lastest DT creation for 4 Crafty Chicks! Before I get to the challenge I would really like to give a shout out to the firefighters from near and far, police officers, pilots, business, everyday people for helping our fellow Albertan's to get to safety from the wild fires in Fort McMurray! I am so grateful that so many people have stepped up to help the 88,000 people evacuated. Thank you for being everyday Hero's!! Now back to the challenge at hand...

Our beautiful hostess this week is our one and only Tina! For Challenge #298 she gave us something easy peasy or for me it is.  Tina would like us to use BLACK AND WHITE for our image.

My card is clean and simple but I think works well with the challenge Tina gave us.  For some reason black and white is just elegant colors to work with. The above Rose is from Rose Garden dies from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from Close to My Heart and the texture is made from Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I also used mini pop up dots due to a suggestion from my fellow DT, Leanne. They worked wonderfully to pop it up the rose. Personally I think there is tons you can do with this die set.

Please come and join us for our lastest challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks we truly would love to see your art.

You Go Girl! and Guest Designer Call at 4 Crafty Chicks

Hello my friends! This past week has been full of hot heat but with the high temperatures has also brought even more fires in the Province of Alberta.  We really could use rain to help with the dryness and the fires.  On Tuesday night there was evacuations in Fort McMurray, Alberta and it is the largest evacuation in the history of Alberta.  This wild fire has removed 70,000 people from their homes.  Our thoughts and prayer are with our families, friends, fire fighters, police, military and everyone else involved.

Yes we are already on the first Thursday of May!! Our daughter informed me that she really only has about 36 days left of school.  Needless to say I went what the heck!! So on that note our talented and wonderful Hostess for our brand new Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks is our very beautiful Leanne.  For Challenge #297 she would like us to bring out our SASSY WOMAN.  Must say that was so much fun to color this image of Girl Friends.  I have this dream that this is what my friends and I will look like when we get older :).

We also are having a Guest Designer Team Call. We would like for you to enter using GDT behind your name when entering, please use your name not the projects name as it might not show and we won't know if you wanted to be entered or not.  These GDT Spots will be one for each of the following months June, July, and August.

Be sure to check out what my other fellow DT's Lori and Tina have for you, their creations are inspiring. Come on over to join us at 4 Crafty Chicks! Don't forget to put GDT after your name to become a guest designer.
